Looking for free family activities in Gloucestershire this summer? We’re back with another exciting programme of events, bringing stories, crafts and free books to children across the county.
Throughout the summer holidays, we’ll be bringing our Not So Secret Book Club to green spaces, community events and HAF events across Gloucestershire. Whether you have a little one who loves storytime or an older child who enjoys getting stuck into a good book, we’d love to see you there!
What is the Not So Secret Book Club?

Our Not So Secret Book Club is suitable for everyone, from tinies to teens. Every session includes:
- Storytime
- Fun crafts
- A special themed treasure hunt
- Plenty of free books for children to take home and enjoy
Many of these sessions also include a free healthy lunch as part of Gloucestershire’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. Best of all, every event is completely free to attend!
